Registration / Creation of an account
Password: The minimum password length is 8 characters. Both upper- and lower-case letters are required, plus at least one number and at least one special character.
Captcha (image-based security verification): Registration of an account is only possible using image captcha. People with a visual impairment can contact us for help by writing an e-mail to dwd-shop@dwd.de.

“VERIFY THAT YOU ARE HUMAN”
Find the icon that is the least frequent in the row and click on it (either if more than one).
Example: You can see six helicopters and two bugs, so click on one of the bugs, no matter which one.
Confirmation e-mail: Within minutes after completing your registration for an account, WetterShop will send a confirmation message to the e-mail address indicated during registration. Please open this e-mail and click the link to send your confirmation. If you can’t find the message in your inbox, check your junk or spam folder.
Login / Password
Wrong password entered too many times: Your account will be locked after 5 unsuccessful attempts to log in.
Please write an e-mail to dwd-shop@dwd.de. The account has to be unlocked by us. Please note: E-mails are not attended to over weekends or public holidays.
Login data: To successfully log in to the WetterShop, you always require both your registered e-mail address and password.
Login data for the WetterShop always consist of your e-mail address and a password chosen by you. If you don’t have your password to hand, please use the button Forgot your Password.
Important notice: Here you can’t use access data for products (e.g. pc_met, agrowetter). pc_met and agrowetter Prognose are products for which you receive access data when purchasing. These are different from the login data for your WetterShop account. For buying products from the WetterShop, you must have an active account or first create a new account.
Forgot your password: Go to the LOGIN tab, then click on the button “Forgot Your Password?” and follow the instructions:
- Enter your e-mail address.
- Click on “VERIFY THAT YOU ARE HUMAN”.
- Solve the captcha.
- Submit.
- Check e-mails in your inbox and open e-mail ‘Request new password”.
- Click link in the e-mail.
- Type in new password: at least 8 characters (see password guidelines above).
- Repeat new password.
- Submit.
Then go to the LOGIN tab, Already registered? section on the right, and log in using your e-mail address and the new password.

Payment methods
SEPA mandate: It is not necessary to enter the BIC. If a “BIC unknown” or similar error message appears, leave the BIC field empty.
Interruption of order process: If the order process is interrupted for a break, your session times out or you leave the shop before submitting the order, the selected payment method will be cancelled and the order not be submitted, but it could be listed in the WetterShop as cancelled (depending on the payment method).
Payment methods: The payment methods offered to you in the WetterShop depend on which customer group you belong to and which product you wish to buy. Not all payment methods are always available or shown. The processing times are product-specific, relevant additional information can be found next to the product description.

Processing times from order submission:
- pc_met: 3–5 working days (Link to product)
- agrowetter: 10–15 min.
- agrowetter Beregnung (Irrigation Advice): 10–15 min.
Important notice regarding agrowetter: When logged in to your account with WetterShop, you can access the acquired product under “Account” / “My Credentials” and change your password for accessing the application. However, the password for the application can only be changed if the status is “active”. If you have any problems with the agrowetter application or your password for it, please write an e-mail to landwirtschaft@dwd.de.
Important notice regarding pc_met: When logged in to your account with WetterShop, you find the acquired product under “Account” / “My Orders”. If you have any problems with the pc_met application or your password for it, please write an e-mail to luftfahrt@dwd.de.
